Our school uniform helps create a sense of belonging and pride in our school community. We ask all pupils to wear the correct uniform each day and to ensure that clothing and personal belongings are clearly named.

We are pleased to announce that our school uniform will now be supplied exclusively by PMG Schoolwear, based here in Ipswich.

​

PMG Schoolwear will stock all items of uniform, including those with the school logo. Parents and carers can choose to order online for home delivery or use the convenient click-and-collect service.

Please note that we will no longer hold or sell uniform stock at the school. All purchases will need to be made either online or directly in store.

For families eligible for Pupil Premium support, we will provide a card that can be taken into the store to purchase uniform items.

Please make sure you name all clothing.

Our Uniform

​

Our main school uniform consists of:

• Black or grey skirt or pinafore dress

• Black or grey trousers or shorts

• Green and white checked summer dress

• White or dark green polo shirt or shirt

• Dark green sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan

• Flat black shoes or black boots during the winter months

The Ranelagh school logo is optional on sweatshirts.

PE Kit

​

Children need a suitable PE kit for school. This should include:

• Plain white T-shirt

• Plain black shorts

• Plain black tracksuit bottoms or leggings, without zips, hoods or branding

• Trainers or plimsolls

​

The school provides a separate kit for pupils taking part in sports festivals.

Other Items

​

Children will also need:

• A suitable coat

• A school bag

• Wellies for children in EYFS

• A sun hat during the summer months

​

Please make sure that all clothing, footwear and other personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name.

Jewellery, Hair and Accessories

​

Children should not wear jewellery in school, apart from a watch and small, plain stud earrings where ears are pierced. Stud earrings must be removed by the child for PE.

Watches should be analogue or digital.

Make-up and nail varnish should not be worn in school.

Where to Buy Uniform

​

Sweatshirts featuring the Ranelagh school logo are available to purchase from the school office, although these are optional.

​

All other uniform items can be purchased from high-street shops or supermarkets.

​

Optional Ranelagh book bags and PE bags are also available through the school office.

Pre-Loved Uniform

​

We have a selection of pre-loved uniform kindly donated by families. If you need help with any uniform items, please speak to a member of staff and we will be happy to help.
