We Welcome Your Feedback
At Ranelagh Primary School, we want to work in partnership with our pupils, parents, carers and wider community. If you have a concern or are unhappy about something, we encourage you to raise it with us so that we can listen, understand your concerns and work towards resolving the matter.
Where possible, concerns are best raised and resolved informally at the earliest opportunity.
How to Raise a Concern
You can raise a concern in person, in writing or by telephone.
In the first instance, concerns should be raised with the appropriate member of staff, such as your child's class teacher, Phase Lead, Senior Leader or the Headteacher.
If your concern cannot be resolved informally, you can make a formal complaint in accordance with our complaints procedure.
If you require support in making a complaint or need information in an alternative format, please contact the school office. We will consider reasonable adjustments to help ensure that everyone can access the complaints process.
Formal Complaints
Formal complaints should be made through the school's published complaints procedure. Our procedure explains the stages involved, the relevant timescales and how complaints are considered fairly and impartially.
Complaints about the Headteacher should be addressed to the Chair of Governors via the school office. Complaints about the governing body should be addressed to the Clerk to the Governing Body via the school office.
Please mark correspondence relating to formal complaints Private and Confidential.
Important Information
Some matters are dealt with through separate statutory procedures and are therefore not covered by the school's general complaints procedure. These include matters such as admissions, exclusions and child protection or safeguarding concerns.
If you have a safeguarding concern about a child, please refer to our Child Protection & Safeguarding page.
