Year 6 to Year 7 Transition

The move from Year 6 to Year 7 can be a daunting experience for pupils as it involves becoming familiar with a range of new and/or different things such as:

​

• A new working environment

• A different set of peers (coming from many different schools)

• New teachers and other adults

• Different expectations

• More homework

• Coping with the age range of pupils at School (11-18 years)

We aim to support their transition from KS2 to KS3 in being a positive and exciting venture and equip them with coping strategies during this transition.
