Lions

Welcome to the Lion Class

In our Lions class, Mrs. Palmer teaches on a Monday and Tuesday.

On Wednesday mornings, the students split into smaller revision groups. These have a  focus on maths, SPaG or grammar.  Mrs. Stewart will then teach the class between break and lunch.  Either Mrs. Palmer or Miss. Motion will be teaching on the Wednesday afternoon.

On Thursday and Friday, Miss. Motion will be teaching the class. 

Miss Simmons, our Lions classroom assistant, will be support children in the classroom throughout the week.

Leopard Reminders!

Our PE lessons this term will be on Mondays and Fridays.

​

On PE days, your child should bring their PE kit with them and they will get changed at school. Please remember: PE kit is a plain white T-shirt, hoodie, plain shorts/joggers and trainers. No football shirts. 

​

For safety, please ensure earrings are removed and long hair is tied back on both of these days.

Homework - Yr 6

These are the expectations we have upon our Yr. Six pupils for the Summer term

1. Read every day and regularly complete the Accelerated Reader tests after each book that they read. Children are able to take these tests at home, following this link: https://global-zone61.renaissance-go.com/welcomeportal/2248283

2. Practise their multiplication and division facts using Times Table Rockstars.

3. Practise the spelling/handwriting exercise that they bring home each week. 

 

Pupils will also weekly homework based on English, maths or topic content.

We would really appreciate your support in encouraging your child to complete these tasks regularly.
